'><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><h1>Por que a \u00e1gua dissolve compostos i\u00f4nicos?<\/h1>\n<p>O simples fato de um composto i\u00f4nico ser um <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/2015\/11\/23\/ligacao-covalente-polar-e-apolar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">composto polar<\/a> n\u00e3o implica que ser\u00e1 sempre sol\u00favel em compostos polares l\u00edquidos, como a <strong>\u00e1gua<\/strong> e o metanol.<br \/>\nOs compostos i\u00f4nicos NaCl, um sal e <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/2015\/06\/29\/definicao-acido-base-de-bronsted-lowry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NaOH uma base<\/a> s\u00e3o capazes de serem dissolvidos por um l\u00edquido polar como a \u00e1gua, mas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o dissolvidos em outro l\u00edquido polar, como o <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/portfolio-item\/alcool-mais-que-um-produto-uma-funcao-organica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">metanol<\/a>, ou um apolar como o <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/portfolio-item\/compostos-aromaticos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">benzeno<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>\u00e1gua<\/strong> possui a capacidade de dissolver compostos i\u00f4nicos tais como o sal <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/2017\/07\/10\/o-que-e-sal-marinho\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NaCl <\/a>e a base NaOH, pela hidrata\u00e7\u00e3o e estabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00edons formados, Na<sup>+ <\/sup>e Cl<sup>&#8211;<\/sup> no caso do NaCl e Na<sup>+<\/sup> e OH<sup>&#8211;<\/sup> no caso do NaOH. Esse processo de hidrata\u00e7\u00e3o e estabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00edons \u00e9 capaz de enfraquecer as intera\u00e7\u00f5es eletrost\u00e1ticas existentes, anulando (ou diminuindo grandemente) a tend\u00eancia dos \u00edons em se agrupar em uma rede cristalina, caracter\u00edstica de <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/2015\/06\/28\/ligacoes-quimicas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">compostos i\u00f4nicos<\/a>.<br \/>\nA diminui\u00e7\u00e3o das intera\u00e7\u00f5es eletrost\u00e1ticas que a <strong>\u00e1gua<\/strong> promove entre os \u00edons de compostos i\u00f4nicos \u00e9 devida a sua alta constante diel\u00e9trica, 80 a 20\u00b0C, enquanto o <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/portfolio-item\/alcool-ou-etanol-qual-voce-bebe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">metanol <\/a>apresenta constante diel\u00e9trica 30. As intera\u00e7\u00f5es entre os \u00edons dissolvidos ser\u00e3o muito mais fracas ou nulas quando o solvente apresenta constante diel\u00e9trica alta, estabilizando a atra\u00e7\u00e3o entre as cargas el\u00e9tricas. J\u00e1 em solventes com constante diel\u00e9trica baixa, como o metanol (constante diel\u00e9trica igual a 30) ou o benzeno (constante diel\u00e9trica igual a 4,6), a atra\u00e7\u00e3o entre as cargas el\u00e9tricas dos \u00edons ser\u00e1 elevada e minimizar\u00e1 a separa\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00edons, ou seja, n\u00e3o dissolver\u00e1 muito bem.<\/p>\n<p>Em termos termodin\u00e2micos, quando o NaCl dissolve em <strong>\u00e1gua<\/strong>, os \u00edons Na<sup>+<\/sup> e Cl<sup>&#8211;<\/sup> abandonam o ret\u00edculo cristalino e podem se movimentar livremente na solu\u00e7\u00e3o. Com isso, h\u00e1 um aumento da entropia do sistema (aumenta o n\u00edvel de desordem do sistema), o que \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel (pelo menos em parte) pela grande facilidade da dissolu\u00e7\u00e3o do sal (NaCl) em \u00e1gua.<br \/>\n\u00c9 poss\u00edvel afirmar ainda que as intera\u00e7\u00f5es formadas entre os \u00edons Na<sup>+<\/sup> e Cl<sup>&#8211;<\/sup> com mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1gua s\u00e3o mais est\u00e1veis (energeticamente) do que as intera\u00e7\u00f5es intermoleculares do tipo <a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/2015\/06\/28\/ligacoes-quimicas-2a-parte\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">liga\u00e7\u00f5es de hidrog\u00eanio<\/a> que ocorrem entre as mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1gua no estado l\u00edquido.<br \/>\nQuando a<a href=\"http:\/\/quiprocura.net\/w\/2015\/07\/13\/propriedades-gerais-da-materia-pagina-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> temperatura da \u00e1gua \u00e9 diminu\u00edda para pr\u00f3ximo a 0\u00b0C<\/a>, a quantidade de NaCl dissolvida em \u00e1gua diminui, comparativamente \u00e0 quantidade dissolvida a 20\u00b0C, mesmo com o aumento da constante diel\u00e9trica da \u00e1gua para 88. Ao diminuir a temperatura da <strong>\u00e1gua<\/strong> at\u00e9 pr\u00f3ximo a 0\u00b0C, h\u00e1 uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da agita\u00e7\u00e3o das mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1gua e consequente aumento do n\u00famero de intera\u00e7\u00f5es intermoleculares do tipo liga\u00e7\u00e3o de hidrog\u00eanio, que passa a ser favorecida em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 algumas intera\u00e7\u00f5es entre mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1gua e \u00edons Na<sup>+<\/sup> e Cl<sup>&#8211;<\/sup>.<br \/>\nA 0\u00b0C, a <strong>\u00e1gua<\/strong> rica em cloreto de s\u00f3dio dissolvido n\u00e3o congela, passando a existir no estado l\u00edquido a temperaturas negativas, devido a presen\u00e7a de \u00edons Na<sup>+<\/sup> e Cl<sup>&#8211;<\/sup> ainda interagindo com mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1gua, evitando a forma\u00e7\u00e3o do ret\u00edculo cristalino formado por intera\u00e7\u00f5es intermoleculares do tipo liga\u00e7\u00e3o de hidrog\u00eanio entre as mol\u00e9culas de \u00e1gua. Quanto mais baixa for a temperatura, maior a chance de formar precipitado de NaCl e a solu\u00e7\u00e3o congelar.
